A brief introduction of proposal system for creative arts and skills
 

  Creative arts and skills are centralized reflection of spirit of “Improvement” advocated by Toyota.

  The initial form of this system was prescribed in principle of employment formulated by Toyota Motor Corporation in November 1938, the proposal system for creative arts and skills is a system of reward condition for active creation and invention of staff. The “proposal system for creative arts and skills” was officially formulated by Toyota in May 1951. Up to the present, this system has been implemented for more than sixty years continuously and obtained great support of Toyota staff. The proposal suggestions have always been a gigantic number, of which most important and direct result is: The employees who are most familiar with the situation of the first production line commit themselves to improve their own work and the quality and technologies of Toyota motors can also be inherited and developed.

  As one of key Chinese manufacturers of the Vios car,Corolla car,Crown car as well as more expected TOYOTA brand cars of TOYOTA, Tianjin FAW Toyota Motor Co., Ltd (TFTM) sticks to conduct production in each production links in accordance with TOYOTA global unified quality standard. The “proposal system for creative arts and skills” was officially established by TFTM in July 2003 to achieve this purpose. This system has obtained extremely active response from first line Employees as soon as it was established, there were 319 proposals had been received only from July to November 2003 and the corresponding proposers gained due reward from Proposal Rewards to 1st Prize,which greatly arouse the enthusiasm of first line employees to think about and solve problems and participate in decision-making as well.
  “Making improvement, writing proposal and gaining encouragement and reward” has become one of Working Customs of people of TFTM. This is because no matter individual or company will benefit a lot from Proposal System for Creative Arts and Skills.
