On 27th March, 2008 TFTM suppliers general meeting was held by Tianjin Faw Toyota Motor Co., Ltd，Tianjin Faw Toyota Engine Co., Ltd, FAW Toyota (Changchun) Engine Co., Ltd, Sichuan Faw Toyota Motor Co., Ltd, Changchun Fengyue Company under Changchun Fengyue Company in the Renaissance Tian Jin Teda Hotel jointly. Important leaders such as special executive officer of Japan Toyota Motor Co., Ltd, Wang Zhenbo, secretary of purchasing department of China Faw Group, general managers and deputy general managers and plant directors of each company attend this general meeting.
At 15:25 p.m.，general meeting began during 2007 memorabilia showing of each company. The meeting was presided by Li Changchun and Yang Li Gm from dispatching department of TFTM. Firstly, general manager Kato of TFTM made an address and expressed his appreciation to each suppliers who, for long-term, have given great support and help to Faw·Toyota in joint creation of China auto enterprise of Faw Toyota and common striving for creating auto with competitive advantage.
Later, Wang Zhenbo and special executive officer made important speeches. Secretary Wang made an analysis on current situation of auto markets and influencing factors, made a forecast on future auto markets and accounted for the plan and main responsibilities of Faw Group in 2008. While, special executive officer explained Toyota global dispatching guideline in 2008 from quality, safety and CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) and put forward new requirement of “ Paving solid and secure basis on new growing stage”.
In this general meeting, three prizes (recognition award, excellence award and encouragement award）of shared original price and quality respectively were awarded according to expectation reached in 2007. Deputy secretary，Sun Jingxin read out different award winners. Among which, excellence awards for original price and quality were awarded by secretary Wang and special executive office respectively. While recognition awards were awarded by general managers and deputy general managers of each company.
At the end of awarding, president Jiao of Qingdao Huatao addressed as representative of award winning manufacturers, who showed thanks to Faw· Toyota Company and introduced growth process of his company for mutual encouragement with each supplier.
This general meeting was jointly held by five companies, which show integration of Faw·Toyota joint venture in China. We understand more about annual guideline and business philosophy of parent company- Faw Group and Japan Toyota Motor Co., Ltd profoundly via this general meeting. Additionally, work of past year has been summarized and excellent suppliers have been awarded in this general meeting, strengthening understanding and communication between Faw·Toyota company and suppliers.
