¡¡¡¡Toyota(Tianjin)traffic safety experience activity launched
¡¡¡¡At a.m. Aug. 29th 2009, two-day ¡°Experience in Driving, Safety in Mind¡±- Toyota(Tianjin)traffic safety experience activity was officially launched in Yinhe Square. This activity was held by Tianjin Public Security Bureau and Toyota Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd jointly.
¡¡¡¡Ding Dongfu, deputy director-general of Tianjin Public Security Bureau, Kato Masahiro, standing director of Toyota Motor Corporation and general manager of Toyota (China) and²ñ´¨ÔçÈË, general manager of TFTM attended the opening ceremony.
¡¡¡¡The purpose of the traffic safety experience activity is to allow numerous ordinary citizens to participate in action improving traffic safety consciousness, especially need to enhance awareness of protection of disadvantaged group such as the aged and children. During the activity, citizens can experience the importance of safety belts through seating in cars driven by Japanese professional coaches at about 20km/h and also can carry out drink driving danger simulation experience via different equipments and facilities to confirm ¡°Blind Spot¡± in driving, experience actual drillings such as the aged movement and children range of vision, installing child-seat and emergency escape, etc. Simulating drunk state and experience emergency escape simulation training. On the site of activity, the magazine show of ¡°Please tie your safety belts¡± made by Tianjin Public Security Bureau and Toyota (China) jointly was also played.
¡¡¡¡Ding Dongfu, deputy director-general of Tianjin Public Security Bureau, expressed that, at present, Tianjin is deeply carrying out propaganda and education on traffic safety and centralized rectification activity based on the subject of ¡°Cherish Life, Refuse to Drive under Influences¡±. This traffic safety propaganda experience activity also enables numerous citizens experience effect and results resulted from drunk driving and other traffic safety violations, making them take a lesson therefrom. As a good propaganda and education form, Tianjin Public Security Bureau and Toyota will enhance cooperation in the field of traffic safety in the future.
¡¡¡¡Kato Masahiro, standing director of Toyota Motor Corporation and general manager of Toyota (China) expressed that Toyota take traffic accidents ¡°Zero Casualties¡± in the field of traffic safety as prospective target and hope to make contribution to Chinese social harmonious development continuously through Trinitarian comprehensive measures of ¡°Vehicle, Human and Traffic Environment¡±. Therefore, Toyota is always dedicating to propaganda and education to drivers and passengers with the hope of improving everybody¡¯s traffic safety consciousness.
¡¡¡¡In the field of ¡°Traffic Safety¡±, in addition to conducting safety driving training activity and traffic safety experience activity in Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai, etc, Toyota also donated to construct overhead bridges in Tianjin and donated ¡°Caution¡± boards which can be used when going to schools or going homes to the pupil in Beijing, dedicating to improving traffic safety consciousness of people and reduce traffic accidents in various forms.
